Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Gaudium Acrobatix (“Acrobatix”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides gymnastics training programmes and related activities through its centres and digital platforms.

This Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains the terms applicable to payments made for registrations, classes, programmes, assessments, camps, workshops, events, merchandise and other services offered by Gaudium Acrobatix.

By making a payment through the Gaudium Acrobatix website or through any other authorised payment channel, the member acknowledges that they have read and accepted this Policy.

For participants below the age of 18, the payment and registration must be completed by a parent or lawful guardian or an authorised representative.

1. FEES AND CHARGES

Fees applicable to a programme or service will be communicated or displayed before the member completes the registration or payment.

Depending on the programme, charges may include:

  • Registration or enrolment fees
  • Programme or training fees
  • Monthly or term fees
  • Assessment fees
  • Camp or workshop fees
  • Competition or event fees
  • Uniform or merchandise charges
  • Special programme charges and
  • Applicable taxes or statutory charges

The applicable amount payable at the time of registration or purchase will be clearly communicated to the member.

2. PRICING

Gaudium Acrobatix reserves the right to revise its fees and charges from time to time.

Any revised pricing will generally apply to new registrations, renewals or subsequent programme periods and will not affect a payment already completed for a confirmed service period, except where required by applicable law.

Prices displayed on the Brochure/Website or any other marketing material are subject to applicable taxes, where required.

In the event of an obvious typographical, technical or pricing error, Gaudium Acrobatix reserves the right to correct the error and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

3. PAYMENT METHODS

Payments may be made through payment methods made available by Gaudium Acrobatix or its authorised payment service provider.

These may include:

  • Credit cards
  • Debit cards
  • UPI
  • Net banking
  • Digital wallets and
  • Other electronic payment methods supported by the payment gateway

The availability of a particular payment method may depend on the payment gateway, bank, payment service provider or other technical factors.

4. ONLINE PAYMENT PROCESSING

Online payments may be processed through a third-party payment gateway.

When making a payment, the member may be redirected to or interact with the payment gateway’s secure payment interface.

Payment processing is subject to the applicable terms and security procedures of the payment service provider.

Gaudium Acrobatix does not ordinarily collect or store complete card details, CVV numbers, UPI PINS, passwords or other confidential payment authentication credentials submitted directly through the payment gateway.

5. PAYMENT CONFIRMATION

A payment is considered successfully completed only after confirmation is received from the applicable payment gateway and/or Gaudium Acrobatix.

Members should retain their:

  • Payment confirmation
  • Transaction ID
  • Order/registration number
  • Bank reference number or
  • Other payment reference

until the transaction has been successfully completed.

An amount showing as debited from a bank account or payment instrument does not by itself constitute confirmation that the registration or transaction has been successfully completed.

6. FAILED OR UNSUCCESSFUL TRANSACTIONS

A payment may fail because of reasons including:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Bank or card restrictions
  • UPI or payment gateway issues
  • Network interruption
  • Authentication failure
  • Technical errors
  • Transaction timeout or
  • Other reasons outside the control of Gaudium Acrobatix

If a payment fails but the member’s account has been debited, the member should not immediately make a second payment.

The member should contact Gaudium Acrobatix with the relevant transaction details so that the transaction can be verified.

Where the payment gateway confirms that the transaction has failed and the amount is eligible for reversal, the amount will be returned through the applicable payment system, subject to banking and payment-provider processes.

7. DUPLICATE PAYMENTS

If a member accidentally makes more than one payment for the same registration or service, the member should contact Gaudium Acrobatix and provide the relevant transaction details.

Once the duplicate transaction is verified, the excess amount will be processed for refund through the applicable payment method, subject to verification and applicable law.

8. PAYMENT REVERSALS

In certain circumstances, a payment may be automatically reversed by the bank or payment gateway.

Where a payment is reversed or refunded by the payment service provider, the registration or booking associated with that payment may not be considered confirmed unless Gaudium Acrobatix separately confirms it.

9. REGISTRATION AND ENROLMENT FEES

Where a registration or enrolment fee is applicable, the fee will be communicated before payment.

Unless otherwise specifically stated at the time of registration, registration/enrolment fees are generally non-refundable once the registration process has been completed.

Any exception will be handled in accordance with the applicable programme terms and applicable law.

10. PROGRAMME AND TRAINING FEES

Programme fees are payable for the selected programme and applicable period.

Once a programme registration has been confirmed, the fee will be subject to the cancellation and refund terms communicated for that particular programme.

Payment of a programme fee does not automatically create a right to a refund for classes not attended by the participant.

11. REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refunds may be considered in circumstances including:

  • Duplicate payments
  • Confirmed payment errors
  • Failed transactions where the amount has been successfully received by Gaudium Acrobatix but the service cannot be provided
  • Other circumstances where a refund is required under applicable law

Refunds are not automatically available in every situation.

12. REFUND PROCESS

Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed through the original payment method.

Members may be required to provide transaction details to verify the payment.

Gaudium Acrobatix may not be able to process a refund to a different payment method or bank account except where operationally required or permitted.

13. REFUND PROCESSING TIME

Once a refund has been approved and initiated by Gaudium Acrobatix, the time taken for the funds to reach the member’s account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider or other financial institution.

The member may therefore experience a processing period after Gaudium Acrobatix has initiated the refund. Where applicable, the member will be provided with the refund reference or transaction details.

14. PAYMENT DISPUTES

Members should contact Gaudium Acrobatix as soon as possible if they believe that:

  • A payment was incorrectly charged
  • A duplicate payment was made
  • A refund has not been received
  • The wrong amount was charged or
  • A transaction was processed incorrectly

The member should provide relevant transaction information to enable verification.

Gaudium Acrobatix will investigate the matter and coordinate with the payment service provider where necessary.

15. CHARGEBACKS

Members are encouraged to contact Gaudium Acrobatix before initiating a payment chargeback where a transaction or refund concern can be resolved through member support.

Where a chargeback is initiated, Gaudium Acrobatix may provide the relevant transaction, registration and service information to the payment provider or financial institution for verification. Nothing in this Policy restricts any rights available to a member under applicable law.

16. FRAUDULENT OR UNAUTHORISED TRANSACTIONS

Members should immediately notify Gaudium Acrobatix and their bank/payment provider if they suspect that a payment has been made without authorisation.

Gaudium Acrobatix may investigate suspected fraudulent transactions and may take appropriate action, including contacting the relevant payment provider or authorities where necessary. Members are responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices, accounts and payment credentials.

Unless expressly stated, promotional offers:

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Cannot be combined with other offers
  • Are subject to availability and
  • May not be applied retrospectively to payments already completed

Gaudium Acrobatix reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotional offers, subject to applicable law.

20. THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT SERVICES

Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Such providers may have their own terms, privacy policies, transaction limits, authentication requirements and processing timelines.

Gaudium Acrobatix is not responsible for delays or failures caused solely by the systems, banks or payment providers involved in processing a transaction.
